Hi All, We met with Harold Hoyte this evening about
the landscaping from 28th to 24th.

His choice of trees and plants are more than
appropriate. We requested the the hedge that is being planted
between the trees be

planted double so we can obtain a better sound barrier.
He will be going to his superiors to get permission. We also
requested a

cluster of palm trees at both corners of 28th and
24th Streets. It was also mentioned by a resident that trees
should be planted on

the south side on the sidewalk on 10th Street to
help shade the walkway , as it is so very hot , if we ever return to hot South
Florida weather.

It was a good meeting and I am hoping for good results.
Thank all who attended. It does make a difference. I also thank
those of you who

sent e-mails supporting our efforts. I mentioned these
to the city landscaper . Your support helps us gain results.

The question came up to remove all three tall ficus trees
on the WEST SIDE OF THE CANAL since they don’t hold up well in
storms.

Let me know if you have any objection to the removal of
these trees.

We are making head way to protect our community.
Please let me know your thought, and inform our Commission, so I can
include

them in future meetings. Commissioner Ganz has been
active and involved in Waterford Homes concerns about our safety and the Well field

project. Keep us informed and share your thoughts and
opinions so we can make our community a better and safer place to live.

Thanks , Joan
