<DIV>Last night my neighbor told me there are two hawks and an eagle living in the preserve off Military Trail that are hunting squirrels and other small game in our neighborhood. He actually saw one swoop down and snatch a squirrel.</DIV>

<DIV>These raptors have been known, in urban areas, to also try to kill small dogs. He told me because we have two small Shih Tzus. Also, our pet sitter said she'd seen two large birds of prey near the lake a while back.</DIV>
