City of <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:City w:st="on">Deerfield Beach</st1:City></st1:place>
began collecting all recyclables mixed together. Attached is the ad that
was in the Observer on June 25 and July 2; and will be in the Forum newspapers
in the next few weeks. </span></font>The county-wide Single Stream
Program will commence in all other Cities on <st1:date Year="2009" Day="1"
Month="10" ls="trans" w:st="on">Oct. 1 2009</st1:date>. <st1:City w:st="on">Deerfield
Beach</st1:City> initiated its Single Stream program in July due to a separate
early start contract agreement between the County, Waste Management, and the
City of <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:City w:st="on">Deerfield Beach</st1:City></st1:place>.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class=MsoNormal style='mso-margin-top-alt:0in;margin-right:0in;margin-bottom:
0in;margin-left:.25in;margin-bottom:.0001pt'><font size=3 face="Times New Roman"><span
style='font-size:12.0pt'>Studies nationwide have proven single stream to
increase recycling volumes from 40% to 80%. Please assist us in
increasing recycling in your neighborhoods. Feel free to disburse copies
of this flyer to your residents. I can print flyers for you in various
sizes as well as larger poster sizes, and drop them off at your office/home.
