Subject: West Well 22 Late Friday Work

 

 

After having started on the installation of the well screens and pipe for
West Well 22 on Tuesday the pipe got stuck in the boring hole at about 77
feet down.  The pipe and screens had to be removed  and the hole rebored on
Thursday for the second attempt at installation Friday, March 11.  The 177
feet of screens and piping should be done during the day and this is then
followed by placement of a special stone/sand mixture to fill the space
between the screens/piping and the sides of the bore hole up to the ground
surface.  This operation is expected to continue after dark and will require
a small generator to run lights until the operation is completed.  We
apologize for any inconvenience these vital operations may cause.  Best
