Subject: WDCA -- April 28, 2010 Meeting

 

Next Wednesday, April 28 at 7:00 p.m. at the BSO Substation (580 South
Powerline Road) is the next WDCA meeting.  Our feature speaker will be Mr.
Jose Lopez from the Lighthouse of Broward (LHOB).  The LHOB is an
educational facility assisting the visually impaired.  While the LHOB serves
all of Broward County, only 5% of their free assistance goes to residents of
Deerfield Beach.  This is an excellent opportunity to educate ourselves and
our residents about visual impairment, especially for an organization that
serves our community.  Fear not, there will be no solicitation.  As always,
please feel free to invite any guests you think might be interested in
learning more.

 

The agenda for this meeting as well as the proposed minutes from the March
meeting will be e-mailed this Thursday.  If you need either sooner, please
e-mail me.
