at ten pm

Ok, the casing is in.  That's the good news.  Now for the bad news.  The
"quiet diesel generator" is not so quiet.  Unfortunately, this mud
recirculation pump must run for 20 minutes every hour throughout the night.
Tomorrow morning, concrete will be poured into the anular space between the
2 casing pipes. I hope this doesn't cause much of an inconvenience.
