All, not sure if anything has gone out on this yet (I had company last week
and got behind on emails),  but my neighbors at 2744 SW.14 Dr had an
attempted car break-in in the wee hours on 11/13. 

 

An alert neighbor (Regina) across the street got up and looked out when
their dog (Morgan) started barking. Regina saw what they were trying to do
and  called police immediately. The police apparently had helicopters and K9
after the suspects very quickly and made successful apprehensions around gas
city at 10th and Powerline!

 

In addition, I believe the police were able to reclaim stolen property from
other car thefts and return to the owners--great job by the police!

 

Major kudos go to Regina & Morgan, as we probably would not have a happy
ending at all if not for their involvement and quick thinking!! We can all
be thankful for the good neighbors we have here in waterford! 

 

Let this also serve as a friendly reminder to take any valuables out of your
car:)
