Folks,
This is the meeting you should attend.  I can't even begin to tell you how
many residents act surprised when something new is about to happen.
This is the opportunity to meet your commissioner and voice any concerns. 
Denise is the one that works hard to put out all the signs for these
important meetings and it boggles my mind when people begin to complain
about a project that started and act like they have no idea what is going
on.
All I can say is if you care about your community please get involved and
learn what is going on. Please do not come complaining later only to find
out that it is too late because you did not act prior.
 
Finally, I would like to remind all that our HOA fundraiser is still
ongoing. I had one resident come to our home last night that had no idea
that we were accepting donations, or that the association has spent money on
hiring professional engineers to fight for the association regarding the
water well project that could have been much worse had we not intervened.
The resident is on the email list, but apparently someone in the house hold
just hit delete or never passed on the information. Please if you are
reading this email, please do inform the rest of our household of these
important emails and information being passed along.
Also most importantly, please tell  or forward this email to your neighbors
about the website www.waterfordhomes.org and also the email list they can
sign up for.

Commissioner Popelski reported at the Commission meeting last night that the
FDOT will be "widening" SW 10th Street.  
 
Commissioner Bill Ganz wants input from the Waterford Homes residents about
the area between our homes and the well field project.
 
Also on the agenda will be a citywide progress report, economic development
news, and a public safety update. The meeting will conclude with a question
and answer session with Commissioner Ganz.
 
Please attend the District 4 meeting tomorrow night to get the true details
on these very important items that affect our homes so that you will not
have to rely on rumors and incorrect information.
