            This is good information, thank you for passing it on. I will speak with the Deputy that responded and see if he completed a Field Interview Report, which will document their information in our system. These magazine solicitors travel in groups, are usually from out of state, get dropped off in communities, and picked up at a predetermined location hours later. These individuals have every opportunity to commit crimes and I am glad to see your community on top of it. This time of year I have also seen solicitors selling various types of cleaners. These individuals scam their way into the house by asking the homeowners to allow them to demonstrate how the cleaner works on their floor, counters, etc. Once inside they use distraction tactics to steal jewelry, money, gift cards, etc. Please pass this information on to the community. Happy Holiday’s to you and please extend my best wishes for a healthy and happy holiday to the proactive members of the Boca Chica Community.

Eric, there were two solicitors here last night, and apparently for the past few nights, roaming around the neighborhood for quite some time.  People who watched them said they had very suspicious behavior for alleged sales people, as you can see from the photos below.  Someone else called the PBCSO first, and then after I spoke with both of them, I did as well.  The woman was in our development, and the young man was at Charleston Place, walking out of a very dark alcove where it didn't look like the people were home.  Who knows what he had been doing before I drove past.

A deputy whose name was Scott something showed up, and spoke with both the male and the female.  I did not know about these photos until after the deputy was gone.  I also learned more about what various neighbors had seen the two solicitors do, but not until the deputy had left.  Both of the two solicitors gave me a lot of crap when I was talking to them, and even started up with the deputy until he told them what the consequences would be.  The neighbor with the video said the time may be still set to Daylight Savings time.  Same video camera location as from my case and the August break-in.

It has been my experience with these magazine solicitors that come through periodically that they are all from out of state, seem to be gang bangers or people who have been in trouble, and never have identification or solicitors permits when the deputies arrive to question them.  We had an attempted break-in of a vehicle this week, and one neighbor told me that the very first house on the left, when you come in to the development (would also be the last house on your right as you drive out) was broken into, but the owner did not call PBCSO.  That guy lives right next to the people who got broken into last August, who lost jewelry, money etc.  A lot of people here wonder about him, and that is a very strange thing not to report.

Anyway, just wanted to pass this on.  We all appreciate what you and your partners do for the neighborhood.

Woman was video recorded at my front door. Notice how she peers around the closed window blind before ringing the bell. She rings the bell and moves back to wait and then leaves.
I was in the house resting after a day at work. By the time I came to the door she was gone. 
Kathy and Jason also had two solicitors visited them, and they called the police. As of now, I don't know if any officer responded.
This is the second night in a row of this activity.
One neighbor said there was a man and woman soliciting magazines.
